Friday, Saturday or Sunday: Daily rental $395.

  

No Mileage Charges

The Classics Leasing Company does not charge additional mileage fees. We want you to watch the road, not the odometer!

ROadside assitance

Bookings made through driveshare.com include comprehensive roadside service during the rental period. This roadside assistance is included with every rental at no cost to the renter. Read more about roadside assistance here.

Security Deposit

Bookings made through driveshare.com have a $500 security deposit. Otherwise, the security deposit is $2,500. This is held against any damage caused to the car during your rental period. The deposit is taken as either a hold against your credit card or debit card or a cash deposit.

If a hold is made against your credit it won't be charged. If a hold is made against your debit card, please be aware that the funds may not be released from your bank for several days.

 

Gas

Vehicles are delivered with a full tank of gas. Please return your car with the gas tank at least three-quarters full. All vehicles must be refueled with premium grade (91+ octane) gasoline.

You can book now using driveshare.com, or payment can be made through Venmo, PayPal or your MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover credit cards.

1. Where is the Classics Leasing Company located?
After 10 great years in Connecticut and New York, we’re relaunching soon in Los Angeles, CA. 

2. What age do I have to be to hire a car?
Look for updates when we relaunch! 

3. Can more than one person drive the car?
Yes, and there is no extra charge for one additional driver. We’ll need to see your driving license, proof of address, and insurance documentation for the additional driver. Please note that all drivers must be registered with us; if they are not it is illegal for them to operate the vehicle and the vehicle will not be insured. In such circumstances the primary renter is personally liable for all damages and costs.

4. Is there a mileage limit?
We do not charge mileage rates. We want you to enjoy your trip, not watch the odometer!

5. Where can I take the car?
Normally all use of rental vehicles must occur within 150 miles of rental origin point. We'll try to accommodate reasonable requests but logistical restrictions do apply. 

6. What methods of payment are accepted?
Payment can be made through Venmo or PayPal also through MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover for rental fees and security deposits. Credit cards must be in the renter’s own name. 

7. What Insurance do I need?
Look for updates when we relaunch! 

8. What’s the Security Deposit for?
In the unfortunate case of an accident or damage to the car, the security deposit will be used to pay for damage repair. We may require an additional sum to cover the uninsured losses if greater than the insurance excess.

9. What’s the process for making a booking?

10. Do you offer a delivery/collection service?
We may be able to arrange delivery and collection depending on your location. Please email or call us for details and a price quote!

11. Are your cars stick shift or automatic transmissions?
Our cars are stick shifts. Customers must be experienced in and fully comfortable with driving stick shift cars.
