No Hidden Taxes
The prices we list are the prices you pay. Prices include New York sales tax of 8.75% and New York car rental tax of 11.5%. (What does this do to profits?)
No Mileage Charges
Go Drive Classics do not chage additional mileage fees. We want you to watching the road, not the odometer!
Security Deposit
Securit deposit is $1,500. This is held against any damage cause to the car during your rental period. The deposit is taken as either, a hold against your credit card or debit card, or a cash deposit.
If a hold is made against your credit it won't be charged (are the funds not available). If a hold is made against your debit card, please be aware that the funds may not be released from your bank for several days.
Gas
Please return your car with the same amount of gas as supplied with.
Payment Options
Payment can be made through Mastercard, Visa, American Express, or Discover. Per New York State law, you do not need a credit card to rent a car in New york State. Please contact us discuss other payment options if you do not have a credit card.
Breakdowns (seperate coverage from policy)
In the event of any mechanical issues with your rental car call us immediately at 1800-metro-retro, 1800-retro-rental. Depending on your location and the extent of the problem... Unfortunaately AAA service in the New york area provides only flatbed truck recovery, they do not provide breakdown asistance to get you back on the road. In the event of a breakdown please call xxx-xx-xxx. Unfortunately we are unable to provide roadside mecahnical assistance, but we will provide for flatbed recovery and the substitution of a replacement vehicle. subject to availability and the duration of your rental period we may be abl=e to offer a subsisute vehicle. If that option is not suitable we will refund the balance of your rental costs and do our best to arrange transportation to a nearby car rental agency, or return to your pointo of departure if more convenient.
Weather Cancelations
Go Drive Classics reserves the right to cancel or reschedle rentals that are arranged during times when either persistent rain, freezing conditions, or snow are forecast. We will work to give you as much notice as possible. We wouldn't want you taking our cars out in weather that we wouldn't take them out in ourselves. Our cars are not best suited for inclement weather, and it doesn't really do them any good.
